OT: Movies/TV Shows

Happy Gilmore 2 is basically what i expected it to be, but not a disaster, i'd call it watchable, with for every 1 funny bit they did matched with 1 equal bit of cringe nostalgia. Perfectly watchable, and considering a 30 year apart sequel, probably closer to good.

Untamed, also on Netflix, looks like a strong enough miniseries so far, and Smoke on Apple is also quite good, not amazing, but good.
 
HG2 was at best amusing, but not one laugh out loud moment for me. I was expecting this would be a lot better than recent Sandler movies and maybe even start him back on a good run. But not so much.

There was one bit i very very much enjoyed, but this is a fair assessment, save for having any expectations to begin with.
 
I never saw HG1. Sandler's comedy appeals to 15 year olds and I was already twice that age when the first one came out. All I know about it is that he plays a hockey player who takes up golf and wears a Bruins jersey through the entire film.
