ESPN’s entire broadcast panel picked Vegas over Colorado (for the series win, not the game) last night. Just sayin’ … you might not be the only one who’s annoyed. Then again, I’m still waiting for anything those boobs say to count as a goal.

That’s crazy. Did u see who Vegas had to play to get here? Two teams that wouldn’t have even qualified in the Eastern Conference. They can’t possibly be any good!

The Habs had an optional skate this morning. Xhekaj, Veleno and Gallagher among the skaters, so they’re probably out.

It's funny how we get a little sensitive about our own teams and the coverage they get. Seems to me everywhere I look/listen Montreal has no chance because Carolina is so amazing.

Yeah, everybody wants the odds stacked against them for some reason. That’s one reason I keep preaching that Hurricanes fans need to quit caring what idiots on podcasts or ESPN or whatever think. If it doesn’t count on a scoresheet, I honestly don’t give a crap.

That said, when all four studio analysts do something stupid like picking Vegas over Colorado, then yeah. I’m going to point that out. Not saying that Vegas can’t beat Colorado, because of course they can. But four supposedly neutral analysts ALL picking Vegas to beat the best team in the NHL is worthy to point out, I feel.

Yeah, that would be a smart call by St Louis. Gallagher and Veleno have their uses against a team that wants to mix it up after the whistle, but Carolina has never been about that, really. And if Xhekaj is only getting 5 shifts against Buffalo’s depth guys you really don’t need to mess with that against Carolina. Play somebody who can take a regular shift. Again, he’s got his uses situationally, but this isn’t really that situation.

I stopped listening long ago. None of the pundits actually know more than we do. It’s like listening to zeke about everything. No thanks.
