We all trust Hughes.....but at some point, gotta realize that everyone wants these 1C-2C players, and you can't lowball to get them.

He's gonna have to overpay at some point, it's almost unavoidable...you won't get Nico Hischier for Evans+Newhook+Engstrom packages

We have lots of prospects and first rounders to throw around

The time for dach, Barron, newhook swings is over. More dobson level

Yeah. Hughes seems pretty plugged into market value. His entire career as an agent depended on it.

I firmly believe that in most draft years, picks 15 and later are overrated. The top 10 picks are kind of sexy but after that you're throwing darts, which you can do later and pick up guys like Zharovsky, Hutson

But we know picks 15 and 16 are not usually top line players. They can be. But you go with probabilities.
