So i have no idea if any of the Marlies that just advanced to the Calder Cup are actually NHL talents, but you'd have thought a decent amount of them would have been given a look once the season was over.
At least a few people have kept Laviolette's name in the mix with all of the Kings/Oilers/Leafs for the past few weeks. He seems to be the one retread that had a decent chance of being hired.Was it EF who said LA was a two man race between Smith and Woodcroft a few days ago?

If he's terrible again his value could plummet into untradeable, is the problemI don’t believe Rielly is going anywhere.
Even if determined to deal him, why even trade him at what might be his lowest value?
It only makes sense to keep him to see what he’s like under the new regime, and if he’s better, you either keep him or trade him for more. My vote is keep him then too.
