of course not. And we shouldn’t give him that insane contract request…but if bob wants to be here, and that’s partially what gets him here, then give him the incentive deal….BOB: I want 6 years x $7m
LEAFS: Best we can do is 1 x $1m plus a $1m bonus...
... is probably not going to get it done
Can’t imagine Chayka makes this move… I would hope that he understands this would negate much of the positive he’s done so far.Hopped into the car on the way home just to catch Craig Berube vouching for Bobrovsky on Overdrive and Jamie McLennan suggesting he’ll get at least four years.
That is what Stolartz is for (or Bob), but also why can't we?Not what I said. But we can’t depend on them for full time dury.
It'd be one thing if he was coming off a vezina win at his age. Even 2 years frankly seems like a stretch. It seems like such a wild use of money and 4 years is wild
Stolarz is broken. That is what Stolartz is for (or Bob), but also why can't we?
Why wouldnt Jersey just get in on Binnington/Hellybucyk who are available and are much better and more durable?I could see Stolarz being of significant interest to NJ now.
I wonder how attached they are to Mercer, who maybe hasn't panned out as expected, and in the last year of his deal. Something structured around those two names would be great, and then you sign Bob to a non-stupid deal.
Would be data driven to move off markstrom for the better, cheaper stolarz.I could see Stolarz being of significant interest to NJ now.
