We didn't hear a lot about Mooney this season but 30p in 34gp for an 18 y/o 5'8 NCAA rookie is definitely not too shabby.

yep and he wasnt ready to get physically beat up in the AHL

McGuire said college players with eligibility remaining almost always pick to stay rather than go to the AHL. The AHL is a tough way to make a living.
