Exactly. This gets my blood pressure up, bigly. That being said, unless it’s verified anywhere else it’s little more than rage bait. And effective rage bait at that.

The truly sad part, nothing in that document would surprise me if those were actual demands.

Even if any of those top 3 things in the list (confirmed by Carney) were true from the AI Slop then Dotard’s team was not serious about making a deal, which was always the case.

Yeah, they've never wanted a deal. That's never what the 50% tariff threat was about. Trump already told us exactly what he wants since the beginning of his second term: the conquest of Canada by means of economic force. Whether that be formal annexation, or the initial step towards that goal they were seeking in these talks---turning us into a vassal state similar to Belarus that has their foreign policy and trading relationships dictated to them from a foreign metropole.

I don't think the timing of this is a coincidence either. Trump imagined he was going to burnish his tough-guy credentials by scoring a quick conquest of Iran and installing an American/Israel-friendly puppet government there. But now since that's failed spectacularly and turned into an intractable quagmire, he figures he's going to try and distract from it and save face by subjugating Canada instead.
