There should be a rule that you can't use a position player to pitch unless every single pitcher on the roster has faced a batter in the game.
It's such an embarrassment, whether the guy escapes scoreless or gets crushed. Just hurts the prestige of the game. Why not have the ballboy pitch instead? Or just raffle off the inning for a fan to do it.
