I am going to take back what I said. Not because of this save percentage data—which I don’t love because it treats all shots as equally “saveable”—but I just reviewed Gibson’s Goals vs. Expected Per 60 scores for the last few years and they’re not very good.

True, but given that lack of a sure-fire goaltending prospect in our system, I'm not sure a tandem of Koochie and Gibson for the next two-and-a-half years would be a bad thing.
