What is being lost in last night game is that the Leafs had won the first 2 games and were up 3-1 in the 3rd game only to lose that one and eventually the series.

Depends what you think much is.. what people are forgetting is that Monty was picked up on waivers. The VALUE we are getting from him is he fits in perfect for the transition to Fowler, maybe Dobes also. His salary is peanuts and if he has another year like this one i can see him getting as high...

If things go right Monty gets traded next summer at the earliest or the latest will be before the 27 playoffs. I am not sure I would let Primeau play another Hab game, if he stumbles he may as well go play in Europe and there goes an asset. Trade him this summer while someone still would gamble...

If and when we trade Monty it will be 26-27 season.

I think he gets traded this summer in a package.. I can't see him playing another season in the AHL as he has already lost the starting position next year anyways. He will be 26 at the start of next season.. Time to cash in with what we can get for him.

I agree he is not soft, he has a NTC and i doubt he gives the thumb up for a trade to Montreal.. rumor out here is that the Canucks are interested in bringing him back..
