Was M. Rizzo at the rookie camp today?

I have been saying the same thing for a few weeks now. I’m in total agreement with you. The Canes are in much more need of a goal scoring forward. The team’s defense would go from the most respected to the least, overnight (at least perceived).

I’m hoping Freddie stays. I’d like to see (for the right price), Duchene sign on with the Canes. He’d be a great #2 center and really give the team even more depth.

I don’t think they should even go there. He’s one of the heartbeats of the team. Resign him at 9-10 million after his contract expires. I’m inclined to think Necas & Pesce would be the guys to dangle to get that scoring winger.

If Sam Bennett was traded to the Canes this offseason, we’d all welcome him with open arms. Just stop….. it was a clean (very) hard hit. I was upset about losing Slavin too. But, it was clearly a clean hit. This is hockey, NHL Hockey.

Bad penalty taken by Staal in the o-zone. Necas was invisible not only tonight, but for most of the playoffs. I’d be surprised if he wasn’t moved this offseason.
