Is it just me, or are others here getting the massage chair ad banner across the top of the forum page? It immediately took my mind to the WALL-E movie. That's all.

I obviously need to ask my wife what's she's been looking at on this laptop. I don't do a massage without a happy ending and I can't imagine one one from a chair. Maybe I should be glad that and clothes are all that's showing up.

If you want actual Deadspin, 90% of the pre-buyout staff are over at The Defector. You have to subscribe, because they're trying to run an actual business. What's being shut down now is Zombie Deadspin that has been mostly AI crap and stuff they come up with for free/cheap and then edit into something approximating English.

RIP Karl Wallinger of two amazing bands: The Waterboys and World Party.
Gifted songwriter and performer with just a terrific voice ... he was never the same after a brain aneurysm back in the early 00s. That three record run of Goodbye Jumbo, Bang and Egyptology was just remarkable. Pardon me ... I'm gonna go listen to (Gotta Be) Hercules a few times.
