Yeah, but something Paul Maurice said a million years ago still rings true ... pretty much any decent team can overcome the loss of any player for one game. Between a replacement player stepping up and the rest of the guys also stepping up, a team can make it happen by a combination of smoke and mirrors and sheer force of will ... for one game. It's after that one game that player changes start to sting.1 Game in this case might be the 'rest of the season'. Seems fair.
And those 4 guys have been on the roster since 1986Watching this Pens team is truly a case of "who" all game long. I recognize about 4 names on that roster. Apparently I haven't watched them much lately.
Most teams do. Maybe not the Coyotes. Some teams right now would take a solid #2. (Please don’t go there.)The Pens need a true #1 goalie.
I mean, yes ... but they're on their 3rd guy at this point and Jarry actually had a decent season for them. The Pens need a true #1 goalie.
I’m not sure that’s a suspendable hit though. His arm comes up because his stick gets caught between Crosby’s legs.Trouba is trash.
Classic Corey Perry style accidentally on purpose move from Trouba. Yeah, his arm got in that position by accident, but he then made sure to maximize the contact. It's a dirtbag move, but probably just barely on the legal side of the lineI’m not sure that’s a suspendable hit though. His arm comes up because his stick gets caught between Crosby’s legs.
From this angle, I’m not sure Trouba makes contact with Crosby’s head at all.Classic Corey Perry style accidentally on purpose move from Trouba.
