Apparently the only interest was from Fanatics and New Era, who are just about as bad. Until some of the newer/smaller wave of Euro sports apparel firms like Castore or Macron decide to expand to North American sports, I'm afraid we're stuck with these second rate clowns.I saw something on the “internets” that Adidas chose not to re-bid on the jersey contract and Nike made no bid either. Reportedly the league had no real choice than go with Fanatics.
and pretty much everyone who has ever followed a soccer team. So, we're in the billions at that point.Yeah, one of their friggin readers. Them and a million other folks over the decades.
This is a funny statement:

OK, new point system as recommended by me:
Let the chaos reign!!
- Kill the shootout dead
- 1 point for a regulation win
- 2 points for an OT win
- 0 points for a loss or tie
I mean, that's the way isn't it? It removes point variability which allows teams to game the system and be rewarded for WHEN they lose instead of whether they lose. Of course, what the NHL won't say out loud is that they prefer the loser points because it falsely creates parity and allows more teams to at least pretend to be in playoff contention. This crap about "tradition" is BS because this point structure has only existed since they installed the shootout in 2005.Every game is worth ONLY 3 points:
Regulation win = all 3 points.
OT win = 2 points
OT loss 1 point.
Excellent timing. The Jackets announced that Patrik Laine is out 2 - 4 weeks due to a triceps strain suffered at practice yesterday. They’re 2 points “ahead” of San Jose for DFL with 2 games in hand.
A goalie goal in the ECHL last night.

The Macon Whopee had to be the best minor league hockey team name ever!!!Muskegon Mohawks say hi...
When I started out in hockey it was with the new Fayetteville team and they were in the same league with the Macon Whoopee. The old Central Hockey League. Used to be some epic Slap Shot style brawls when they were in town. We were coached by former Dallas Stars player Alan May.The Macon Whopee had to be the best minor league hockey team name ever!!!
My youngest daughter had Ryan Schmidt for Learn To Play at the RecZone. He passed through Fayetteville twice. In 1999-2000, he had 204 PIM and didn’t even crack the top 10. Former Cane Wade Brookbank was 4th with 354 PIM in 68 games. He wasn’t even close to the league leader; that was Curtis Voth, who amassed a stunning 466 PIM in 66 games. That was his 2nd consecutive season over 400 PIM.When I started out in hockey it was with the new Fayetteville team and they were in the same league with the Macon Whoopee.
