Silver medals are meaningless. It just means you failed.lol
What an arsehole.
with him on LTIR, they're 5 mill over. They still need to get camp compliant at some pointMuzzin to LTIR?
Murray dump w carrot stick coming up…Leafs are 5 mill over the cap
it's a brutal contract to eat- he's owed something like 8 mill in real money, while his cap hit is 5.6. Usually suspects like the Coyotes won't touch itMurray dump w carrot stick coming up…

Will be interesting to see how they do it. Need to find someone to eat Murray and/or Brodie's contracts
I’d propose:it's a brutal contract to eat- he's owed something like 8 mill in real money, while his cap hit is 5.6. Usually suspects like the Coyotes won't touch it
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have to be cap compliant on September 1stand can't place people on LTIR until something like October 1st??Then I don’t quite follow how the off-season cap/LTIR dynamic works. When do they need to be compliant? Because my understanding is that LTIRs count against the cap until a certain date and then they are struck off the books.
I believe by the time final rosters are submittedSomeone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have to be cap compliant on September 1stand can't place people on LTIR until something like October 1st??
Muzzin & Murray.Muzzin to LTIR?
I'll always be on #TeamInheritBadContractsForPicks.Murray dump w carrot stick coming up…
Habs should take him for a 1st rounder
I’d propose:
Murray + Leafs 2024 1st for Price’s LTIR
Silver medals are meaningless. It just means you failed.
It’ll actually be more beneficial to them given their situation - an additional $5M AAVNo way they take Price’s boat anchor with the negotiation year they have in store.
Teams can be up to 10% above the cap before the year starts, but once they reach the due-date to finalize the rosters, something like 3-4 days before the first game of the season, they need to be under the cap before they can place their players on LTIR.
There's a bunch of ways of doing this, for example sending your waivers-excluded players to the AHL for all of 15 minutes, get the players on LTIR, and then just call them back up.
or tried to get his medal backI wonder if Lias Andersson's humbled himself since he's been drafted.
