Sure, but Marcel Dionne's career and his reputation (whether earned or not) is not seen nearly as highly as so many other great players.

He went to play in Los Angeles where he was all but ignored, while Guy Lafleur, Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, etc. were in major markets and seen as legendary hockey figures. Dionne, on the other hand?

I want to see Bedard in a real hockey market.
 
A place I actually wouldn't want Bedard to go and I don't have anything against the town & their fans? Washington. I would feel so gross that they'd get 18 years of the greatest goal scorer ever and then get Bedard. That would suck.

I get what you are saying.. however Little Beaver was never ignored.. he signed (at the time) one of the richest contract in NHL history.. he was never an ignored hockey player and Bedard will never be either no matter where he goes..
 
Too much to contemplate. Too nerve wracking for me to watch live so I’ll lock myself in the bathroom and check my phone later.
 
I'm actually nervous. The fate of the next 15 years will be decided in a couple of hours.
