Surprised that Barron and Norlinder aren’t swapped. I guess it’s a RHS versus LHS thing? (Though that doesn’t seem important for the a # 7.)

On merit Norlinder should have been there before Barron or Harris. I liked all the other cuts and absolutely love Armia being waived and hopefully sent down. Sends the right message.

I like the second line

I think it's more bye bye to Ylonen. They'll move Monahan to wing on the second line & bump everyone down.

They need to figure out a way to trade him this year. Find a team that's overloaded with injuries and barter with them.

I don’t think he’s useless at all, though Anderson is somewhat overpaid.

But I don’t think he’s a medium-term fit with the Habs core. 29 years old with four years left on the contract? Be-bye.

You know, I was just thinking about this, and it kind of makes me sad it didn't happen. They just lost the opportunity to say, for the first time in this franchise's long history...

In the long, long history of the Montreal Canadiens, have we ever had a game where we dressed three Swedish players? I looked pretty quickly and couldn't find any season where we dressed more than two Swedish players.

An opportunity lost!
