He was the Canes first pick in the 2024 Draft, they had traded their first (27th overall) for the 34th and 50th, which they used on Nikita Artamonov. As an 18 year old, he played in the top Swedish league. The Canes signed him a few weeks after the draft and loaned him back to Malmo in Sweden for the season. He’s not an offensive threat, he has 9 points in 82 games across 2 seasons. But he’s big, 6’3” and a right shot.
