2024 Draft

It's highly likely Demidov is there. While that should be the pick I know it won't be.

Since there's a crap ton of D I wonder if Hughes can pick up another couple of high picks and just move down for Eiserman or Catton.
Maybe if Iginla is on the board and they're happy with the 2 you mentioned, they squeeze a 2nd out of CGY. EDIT: But I doubt Catton and/or Eiserman will be there at CGY's pick.

Celebrini grew up in SJ, started youth hockey there while his father was working for Golden State and he’s the consensus 1OA…. a no brainer
He's absolutely a no brainer... I was just a bit surprised that he said it out loud. I mean hockey people will call and injury "lower body" when you watch someone break their leg.

That's what my buddy and I were just saying. Depends on Chicago. The next two go D I think.
Yup but they don’t have that top pairing D in their system, the quality of one’s available this draft - I don’t see them passing up this opportunity to grab one

Hughes just said that they will likely draft a forward, and one who’s ready to play in the NHL soon. Sounds like Demidov, Lindstrom or Sennecke. Catton is nowhere near NHL ready due to his size.

Parekh has such a high ceiling. It's no joke that he's broken OHL records for D scoring. Super high ceiling. And apparently reports that he sucks in his own end are not accurate.
I watched him live 3 times , he is barely average in his own end

Same as Brzustewcz played on a stacked team and plays the entire PP

He is good but needs work

The other 3 are 1-2 years away as well
