Xhekaj exposed him as a fraud in Game 1 of the season. He had zero credibility as an enforcer after that.

He's the only one of the Core 4 I'd want on my team. And maybe because he had his father as an example to show him how to behave like a pro is why he doesn't whine like the other 3. He just shows up and elevates in the postseason like the others regress.
 
Ryan Reaves, doing media, says he told Brad Treliving at the end of the season that there was no longer a fit in Toronto, given everything that transpired, being on waivers. Appreciative of the GM for finding him a new place to play.

There is no pressure. What a crock. If they had to actually perform and win to receive that paycheck then an argument can be made for pressure, otherwise its a pretty easy and sweet life. And while we are at it, when is the last time you have heard one of these style-challenged, under-performers say "I want to win a Stanley cup for my team and the organization that has supported me" like almost never, its always me, me, me, me, So gross. He talks way too much for a guy who's not even an NHL player anymore. He walked into the Leafs dressing room day 1 and took over as voice of the team. He's a POS. Leafs actually thought he was a "Leader".
 
He is just shit. The pressure on a guy like Reaves here is so low. Tie Domi is a legend here. Nick Kypreos has his own media empire.

All you have to do is play hard and Toronto will love you forever. What other enforcer do Leafs fans hate? Literally none of them. You see Orr/Domi/Belak jerseys at the acc every game.

Reaves is a moran. 20 years after he retired the ACC had its loudest moment since 2004 when max had his first 8 second tussle and the crowd broke into a “domi” chant.

Honestly tho it sounds like the dressing room had a shit vibe which probably played into this sort of crap from reaves - it only takes one little bitch moaning about how awful it is here for a pile on to start.
