Management is softer than the players. Never held anyone accountable. Never had the balls to make a change when it was still in their control.

They couldn't ask him to skip something he wanted to do.

and got bent over in each round of negotiations with any stars. other than maybe round one with Willy, where doobie eventually caved anyhow.
 
Im really having a hard time seeing how they can right this ship without taking a step back next year.

They have to get regular season worse to get playoff better?

And to maximize Berube's system i think they need less obvious skill? If that makes any sense.

Considering the amount it time the players are on the road..... It's probably better to just keep them at home and have them visit when it's a long home stretch
