MLSE are clearly not interested in engaging with any fan who can't afford tickets, the price of which they keep jacking up year after year. They prefer just to engage with the fan's money, and the term "fan engagement" is merely a euphemism for "sell them more merch". When people toss their Leafs jerseys on the ice in disgust, MLSE wants to make sure they're officially licensed ones and not cheap knock-off's from China.
 
I keep coming back to the term new voice. maybe they take this season to find the person to bump Brad upstairs and get us out of this mess.

Also, my post was about where Marner would be content playing, not that the Leafs should bring him back, dummy. You just took it for yet another invitation to write your billionth anti-Leafs dissertation of the month. And your post wasn't about where Marner would be content playing, it was about where you'd be content with him playing. You talk about what he's going to do like you know how he thinks or like he checks in with you before making a life decision. It's all projection. In reality, the only things we can extrapolate from are based on what we actually see him doing, not what we hope he does. And what he actually does is take the max, so if I'm making predictions, I'm basing them off of that, not on your "superfriends" logic.

San Jose is going to be very good soon. They have a high pick this year, and they have some nice pieces coming in from London to go with what they have already.

Are you talking about a sign and trade with San Jose or just a good spot for marner.

He can go and babysit Marleaus kids.

They'd only give a minimal return for the 8th year.
 
Based on other organizations and recent cup winners, none of these bottom feeding teams with prospects would be ready for contention for probably what? 4 or 5 years?

Marner wants to wait that long?
