The media doesn't exist to help the team, merely report and opine on it. They aren't paid to be MLSE's PR department.worse than useless - a detriment to our teams

I thought it was pretty good, honestly. I wasn’t expecting him to name trade targets or anything, and the questions were at least diverse enough that he basically spoke to every issue. The opening was good too, where he just basically gave a speech on everything he saw from training camp through the playoffs. It was fine, I don't blame him. I just wish they kept it to 15 minutes if he wasn't gonna reveal anything. 1 hour of nothingness is aggressive.

The other interesting thing was about Matty. Said it really was a day to day thing that they thought would just naturally resolve itself, but that there were “flare ups” a few times along the way. That rules out any actual disease or life threatening thing. Made it seem to me like it really was his back, probably not the wrist.

They did actually ask him about that and he acknowledged that they had a problem. He said they were looking to eliminate the grade A super dangerous chances against in building this D.
Actually yes. Matt Larkin did. That was the most interesting question and answer.
Said he agrees with Matt that blocking shots is not necessarily a good thing because it means you're getting hemmed in a lot. And that he needs to consider tactic changes or personnel changes on d, though he did admit that may be tough with everyone under contract.
But also defended tactics in the same breath, saying it's by design and that giving up volume and reducing high danger stuff is part of the plan. He likes the d, he likes their length, etc. but he agrees they need more offense and puck moving and thinks it doesn't have to necessarily mean acquiring new players to do it.
Point >>> flatPoint and flat are the two common brisket cuts, so you're good there.
There’s value in seeing what the guy in charge thought about everything we all watched, since he’s the only one who has the power to do anything about it.I wanted to hang myself listening to that 3 hour sermon on events that we all watched
All he did was narrate events. I really didn't need a game by game narration of an 82 game season and 2 rounds of playoffs. The viewer has to add their interpretation based on his tone and body language which can be fun. He obviously thinks they choked and missed a great opportunity especially in game 3 but like no shitThere’s value in seeing what the guy in charge thought about everything we all watched, since he’s the only one who has the power to do anything about it.
this is actually a pretty funny troll now that I consider it more fullyI also like that he said he told Marner emotions are too high and he needs to take a step back before can talk to him.
