Nahh. Clearly the smart approach is to hand out every single cent of available cap space on July 1st, the time of year most notorious for hilariously overpriced contracts getting handed out.

Then once the trade deadline rolls around, we trade away all of our picks and prospects at the time of year most notorious for hilariously overvalued trade prices. And as an added bonus, we can trade away even more picks for extra retention, to make up for blowing all our available cap space on July 1st.
