His puck retrieval abilities are amazing, he steals and has incredible anticipation, he's unbelievably good at coming away with the puck on board battles with guys much bigger and stronger, and he's super smart about getting the puck out of the zone.
Guy is a fucking star. The lack of production that plagues him and the other three in the late series games is fucking baffling, but that's the only thing tarnishing Marner's game. I was kind of surprised and curious about Tre's comments today, which made it seem like we're still trying to bring him back, but I'm certainly willing, especially if the Panthers guys don't make it free.

The only time a rumor has any legs is when the deal is done and they report it like five minutes before the official announcement, which is why those are 100% accurate all the time. "Hearing so and so is very close to being moved to that team" and then seconds later they announce the trade. There was never any rumor. They just got early wind of a done deal.
Everything else they say is pure bullshit fiction. Knies isn't asking for $10m. Fucking dummy, at least say $8.5m so that people mostly fall for it.
