I still can't believe Marner would want to go elsewhere. And to Vegas of all places. A Toronto boy up there in all time lists for his original six hometown team wants to bolt. Unbelievable. I wonder if they're going to be men about it and say what the fuck happened to cause this.

Glad about Lorentz. Zero risk since it's buriable. Locks in a great bottom sixer at a good age for a few years.
 
And fuckin Florida if they are getting Marchand at that number for 6 years.

The NHL is a joke to allow this sort of shit to happen. 43 years old? Who can defend such a thing as legitimate intent to have the contract run to term, with a straight face that is?

It is quite puzzling and I do truly believe he will regret it one day. I also question that team is he really has a better chance from 2025-on than he did in Toronto with Vegas.
He left with 0 playoff success. He quit.
 
not gonna be happy until Kampf and Krok are dumped.

Right now technically Brad might be looking at the roster, seeing $7m in capspace to add one forward, and keeping Kampf and Krok even though they'd be pencilled in as the 12th and 13th forwards.

Or he might be looking at the roster, ditching them, and seeing $11m in capspace to add two forwards.
