But holding onto them and letting teams miss out on first choice UFAs and then circle back to consolation prize trades is probably necessary, and also beneficial to getting more in return than otherwise.

because Brad is actually trying to recoup assets for them instead of just dumping them.

just dump them already. Krok costs league minimum this year and lots of teams will be way under the cap. just give him away.
