Nice restraint by Tre to get all that cap space freed up and spending some of it on danza and a legit ok 3c and holding off on the rest.

Won’t lie, I’m properly shocked…..my concerns over his hiring was specifically for moments like this, and fear he’d splash big on mediocre talent.

Thoroughly impressed with his offseason so far.

They should just go for Ehlers, and otherwise bargain bin shop. Save the cap space for a meaningful upgrade somewhere. Rasmus Andersson/Jason Robertson, whatever.

I’m worried there will be enough teams going after Ehlers to blow his AAV out of our range, but if the Boeser signing is any indication of ballpark we could get Ehlers in, this is my favorite target as well.

If you can get ehlers for 7-8 I wouldn’t complain but i think that deal gets really ugly in the back half. Just don’t see him being that effective as he slows down.

Not really true. Carlo at an AAV of 3.4 is pretty tasty to a lot of GM's. Could definitely get a top 6 winger for him.
