2025-26 Canes Miscellaneous Thread

Or they could be thinking Bussi is in but he also could use the practice and Freddie could use the rest.
Yup. Also this. Literally anything is on the table with this one.

At one point on Saturday, Luke DeCock was lamenting that they couldn’t put Kooch in, because at least he’d change the tone. I mean, he’d probably pick a fight with somebody, but yeah.

Overthinking is what will get them in trouble. No gimmicks...no changes just to change things up....play your game and it doesn't matter who is in net.....

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say 10 lead changes in a 9-8 would be … um … unlikely.
As would most of everything else this series has offered up …

And I’m not really kidding here. All of this “not going to happen” stuff has already been done at this point. When have we seen TWO multi-goal comebacks in the Finals? When has anybody scored three goals in 39 seconds? When has ANY of this stuff happened? Either never or so long ago that the guys played in covered garages and games routinely got canceled when stadiums burned down. Which was a thing, albeit a thing that only happpened in the pre Original 6 days. At this point, I’d be shocked to see anything normal like a 3-2 game that ends in regulation with no overturned goals. Heck, I’d settle for a 3-2 game that ends in regulation with ONE overturned goal. That would be a quiet Thursday night at the library for this freaking mess of a series.

Yet, everybody just keeps trying to apply logic.

The Canes official game 5 watch party will be at RedHat Amphitheater. Gates open at 6:30. Free admission, no outside food or beverages but the concessions will be open. If you’ve never been, the food and beverage prices are comparable to Lenovo Center. Beer/seltzer $17-18, mixed drinks $16 and up. Food ranges from $5-12. And you’ll have to pay for parking in any of the decks.

That’s one way to get rid of Ticketmaster’s bungling. Just cut ‘em out entirely.
