Ouch. I have a fucked up right knee from the 999 show in the Village Subway from when I was 19. I was at the stage and the mosh hit me from the back, pinned my lower leg to the stage riser, then bent the upper leg over the stage.
God damn, that hurt. I hobbled over to lean up against the Marshalls for the rest of the show, which is likely where the right ear tinnitus started. My roommate and I walked back to Syme dorm after the show. Well, he walked, I hobbled.
Of course, at 19, I figured it would just correct itself. Wrong.
If I was actually as indestructible as I thought I was in my youth, I'd be a comic book character now.
I remember that
You have to wonder whether he comes back from that one. If it's a total knee reconstruction at age 33, on a guy who spend the better part of two seasons out with various surgical issues ... woof. That's a steep climb for a short payoff. In 9 months, he's 34 and trying to get his leg power back from scratch ... and you have to wonder if he's got more than a year or two of top 6 hockey left at that point if he can even get to that point.Stars forward Taylor Seguin likely done for the year with torn ACL

Look ... we're mostly all people of a certain age at this point. And stuff from eight or nine months ago sometimes slips right out of the old brain pan. I had 100% forgotten than Mike Lange had passed away.9 months is beyond old news…what happened Warren, you are usually on top of things!
