2025 Canes Training Camp Thread

Sounds yet another instance when the club decided to change something without getting feedback from their ticket holders first. Not the first, and certainly not the last I'd guess.
 
They used to encourage us to download the tickets to our wallet before we got to the arena, in case the cell service was dodgy. I hope they got repeaters in the building and upped the bandwidth with the cell providers because, with thousands of people trying to call up a QR code simultaneously, it’s gonna be what Bill said.
 
I forwarded the broadcast email with the text of my prior post to my ticket rep... possibly just another failed/unclear communication in that broadcast we got, rather than a full clusterf**k, but he assures the screenshot method will still work.... stay tuned.

Hope you are doing well! We are using a new vendor for the STM app this year so when you go to access it should be in a more accessible location. There was an issue uploading the STM card into the app so once it is fixed you should be able to screenshot it like in years past and text it to other members of your group so they can also use the discount.

Ok, that definitely is not clear and the app even gives the standard 'screenshots won't work'. Thanks for following up on that!

I downloaded the ticket into my wallet this morning and it's the dynamic version same as last season. You should be safe enough with that, but knowing the Canes ops people I'd also be logged on to the app just in case. Also, whatever works on opening night may not work Saturday ... it's their way of making sure we stay sharp in our dotage

I just did too and it gave me the link to add it to my Apple wallet. On the app, the code refreshes every 30 seconds, we’ll see what happens in my wallet.

Should be fine. I'm just concerned about the dumb voucher thing and I don't trust anything those ticket office weenies say when it comes to tech

I think Detroit had something almost the equivalent of that in 2002. Before the cap, obviously.

When I did it earlier, it was right below the link for “Access Your Tickets”. But it’s not there now.

The uniform schedule is out. Black jerseys at home again. Whalers night is January 29 against Utah.

Wow, what the heck? I did upload it to my Google wallet while it was briefly available in the app. Maybe they were not supposed to make it a dynamic QR in the app and they are now trying to correct that?

They better hurry up and figure it out before tomorrow is a total disaster.
 
Putting a bow on one our PTOs, Kevin Labanc signed a 1 year contract to play for the Shanghai Dragons in the KHL. Gerard Gallant is the coach. That’s the rebranded Kunlun Red Star franchise that folded at the end of last season.

I'd guess that's the issue. Or maybe they didn't know that the dynamic QR code went static when added to an Apple wallet. Either way, I smell a scramble

Shame he didn't get a gig in North America. I really thought Labanc played well enough to latch on somewhere.
 
Last practice before the real thing starts. No Kochetkov and it looks like Janky and KK are rotating at 4C.
