I had this, it's not that bad. About 6 weeks of down time, then slowly strengthening your shoulder. It will take time to be 100% but you'll be somewhat functional in 2 month-ish.

Who is your surgeon and what kind of surgery? I've had 8 surgeries and going to NYC for another consult. Still have issues but the last bunch are mostly impingement surgeries.

Yeah took me a while to get it back to 100%, but at least you're not completely non-functional.
