For my condition and needing revision surgeries, I couldn't be seen in Canada for it (went to multiple doctors here), so I've had 3 of my surgeries in the US. Fortunately, my sibling took care of the very high bills. Free healthcare is good if you get a heart attack or need common surgeries. Anything else and you get lost in the system.
