Doesn’t seem like there’s much available 2C wise that won’t cost an exorbitant amount. What about prying Malkin for a year? Wouldn’t cost too much, term isn’t worrisome, cost we can afford and good mentor for Demidov to play with for a year. He does well, maybe resign short term or trade at deadline if we’re out.
