That’s what I’m expecting w a protected 2026 1st - Verbeek has already stated he doesn’t think Mintyukov & Zellweger are ready for steady 20+ TOI and he’s looking for a short term LD stabilizer to provide that 20TOI and Anderson is a prototypical little ball of hate type player

I do that deal in a New York minute, if offered. We can always sell Laone off at the deadline for a 1st rounder.
 
Apparently GMs are not willing to even entertain the idea of dealing their 2026 1st rounders per Friedman because of the what if McKenna scenario
