People say things in negotiations they later retract… and with the cap going up, it’s only a matter of time that Ratty is not the highest paid guy on the team

I’m curious to see how some owners will react, when they can’t right off bonus payouts on the books ….starting w gimp lover Samueli in Ana.

Wouldn’t shock me if little ball of hate is out as GM before start of season

There’s a reason no Stars player makes more than 40% bonus (Rantanen)…

Your assumption is that Hughes didn’t already speak the Robertson’s representation and that Robertson would actually sign an extension in Montreal.

Is it Robertson / his agent who aren't easy to negotiate with OR is it on Dallas' side? …last negotiations were also difficult… was signed on October 6th (the day before season opener).

This time, he wasn't signed before he became RFA. So is it his agent, who he BTW changed, that doesn't make it easy or if Dallas seems to play hard ball with Robertson… feels disrespected that they don't sign him earlier, considering he's been consistently their top scorer.

Keep in mind re:agent to blame, Robertson canned his agent a couple of months back…. went to the same agency as Wyatt Johnson & Rantanen

And still nothing …

So this cant right right off issue is only USA teams ?

What changed in tax rules
