Clicks is only reason. Leafs. Canadiens, Yankees. Cowboys are always "in" on players becsuse of their huge fan bases which drive traffic

Has more to do with diminished role - Danault doesn’t even get PK TOI under Hiller

Remember when Houle was GM? The Habs were run as cheaply as possible and more good players left than we're acquired but whenever a big name was on the trade block we were told that the Habs were "in the mix" to get him. They never did get any big names, of course, but they were always involved, according to the media.

If the Habs want to get Danault and they can get him cheaply, with the understanding that his top 6 days are over, then fine. But any overpayment of assets should be a fireable offense. And if they get him and he shows up on the top 6 in any capacity, that's also a fireable offense.
