I dunno why anyone wastes their time reporting on big ticket US players potentially going to small market Canadian teams. Habs and TML have a hard enough time as it is.

unfortunately, 3-4 teams cant play half the league that wants to go there

For sure. My point was more Knies type than Knies himself. They’re pretty rare, of course, but so are plug and play 2Cs. So, it’s about HuGo being creative. Maybe one possible solution is having Slaf drive our 2nd line until a neater solution presents itself

Internal growth plus a learning experience , we are in good shape

If the right trade and price is there , fine but no dumb overpays

Too early to say. Lots of great players looked less than great in rookie year

my dad's was hard but my mom's hit me harder (there was 25 years between the two). Losing a parent is brutal.

So true fathers been gone 16 years but mother just turned 96 in seniors home.
