2026 NHL UFA/Trade Thread

Morgan Geekie?

Contract would be enticing for CLB. 5 more years at 5.5.

Maybe Zacha or Minten?

[CH1]

Could be.....

But why would Bruins trade a center with 39 goals, against a winger with 27 goals ?

2 years age difference

because Geekie is largely a creation of Pastrňák

[lecoqsportif]

Maybe Zacha or Minten?

Zacha would be kinda funny, because I imagine it would be sign and trade for both parties. Anyway, Zacha only has an 8 team no trade list (Canada + Buffalo?) so might be doable.

Minton… doubt Boston does that.

[Rolex]

i think HuGo realized that getting the 2C would be impossible once Leo accepted that offer sheet. Landscape changed within days….

[lecoqsportif]

It may well be the 2C plays for Michigan.

So then it would be to get an eventual replacement for Kreider.

[Rolex]

That might also be in Russia

Having Slaf and Demi as your wingers certainly makes the 2C job easier from the offensive side of the game, but it also makes it harder for the 2C on the defensive side

Too bad we don’t have Danault 2021 version right now

[CH1]

Not really drooling if they haven’t made an offer that interests Hugo

[Stinky]

He’s worth more than a second round pick.

He’s worth more than a second round pick.

No he’s not

[lecoqsportif]

Let’s see if the Oil gets off to a rough start.

[lecoqsportif]

No he’s not

Calgary 2nd is bound to be in the top 40. That might work.

[Krustchev]

He’s worth more than a second round pick.

He's total trash.

I would have taken the pick and move on
