the Marchand line has been way better than the Bennett line so far. in my mind, Marchy is line 2. although if Tkachuk were healthy, may be different.

mostly a semantic distinction anyways - our two best lines have outperformed their two best
 
also the offense from our D has been just... fucked. in a good way. but kinda hugely unexpected after the season.

Carlo was a real shrewd acquisition, and Tanev is one of the best defenders I've ever watched.
 
Seeing the team play this well in the playoffs under Tre and Chief makes me wonder how much sooner we could have enjoyed this type of success if Shanny hadn’t brought in Dubas years ago. But at this point, just have to be glad the changes were made and we’re here.
