2nd Rnd '25 Playoffs: Leafs vs Panthers - Flo-Rida them onto the ECF - LFG!

Sure, they’re deporting people to foreign detention camps with no due process, separating two year olds from their parents, openly discussing sending citizens to El Salvador, detaining European and Canadians for weeks on end, have the military supporting ICE, deputizing local police with immigration law authority.

But they would never do anything to bad to Canadians other than politely send them home. Stop the hyperbole.

You read what you want to read and ignore what you want. Cheers.

and she tried to self-deport, repeatedly.

told them she was Canadian.

asked to pay her own way.

still detained. habsy should read her first-person account
The disconnect is stunning. Never said it was right and I've heard stories like this for decades. Have it your way. Keep yelling at the clouds.

It's a hot button item that people rightfully get emotional about and add more to it. Those that won't join the mob mentality are then the lightning rod.

Rinse repeat.

are you suggesting that no more Canadians are being detained at the American border than normal?

what disconnect? seriously, what are you on about?
History is littered with stories like hers and in every country. How many cases of longterm detainment of Canadians have their been and what is the context behind it?

I'll say it one last time, it's bad enough (and yes her story is part of what makes it bad enough) that hyperbolic statements only makes it worse because the aholes doing it are then provided a shield and the ones that you need to convince to stop supporting it will slough it off when they read the hyperbole.

For purported experts on Americans you sure don't get it sometimes. Me saying stop the hyperbole is not denying legitimate cases, it's saying that adding to the shit, which everyone does, is counterproductive.

Now read out of that whatever you want (the selective inferences on this board are already legendary) but that's all I have been saying.

Choosing select cases in attempt to defend other hyperbolic statements is hyperbolic in itself. Making a handful into hundreds etc.

I see we’ve reached the Habsy gets defensive and starts telling everyone they’re overreacting part of the Trump presidency. Didn’t take too long! I’m sure he’ll be bang on as usual.
Fuck you dude. I can't stand the guy but also can't stand your and others bullshit.

Always shouting dissenters down

Fucking mob

Cheers.

Where the fuck did I say that?

You know what, fuck it, go cry in your beers. Tired of the bullshit here of people putting words in your mouth.

Fucking children. I'm done. Your shouting down once again has created the echo chamber you all long for.

The Mob’s track record on Trump around here is pretty bang on.

I disagree that what is happening at the American-Canadian border now has any historical precedent
