2nd Rnd '25 Playoffs: Leafs vs Panthers - Flo-Rida them onto the ECF - LFG!

I didn't think coming into this series they had a shot but after the first three games, I'm liking their chances with 2 of the next 3 at home.

I’ll admit I don’t really have much hope. Mostly based on how piss-poor they were in our last game, the playoff PP being up to its old tricks and Auston & Mitch contributing zilch offensively.

Still though, a best-two-of-three where you have home-ice advantage is an objectively good position to be in.

then again, so did Bob
 
What's the old saying? You haven't lost until you've lost at home ( for the teams with home ice advantage)

I haven't given up on them completely yet but I'm not very confident either.

There have been lots of homer series over the years, with any luck this is another one.

Brady I can kind of accept as a thing because he is what he is. Moderately talented power forward who is more or less about that life. He hits things, face washes in scrums, goes to the net and does net front things offensively, will throw knuckles if the need arises, against pretty much anyone in the league just to prove a point. He looks inbred, but I've got some respect for him and his game.

Matthew though, fuck that douche. Just a fake tough guy, agitating weasel who ducks the ass whippings that style of play comes with. Which is a shame because unlike his brother he's a legit high level hockey NHL'er. If this guy just played the game hard, didn't take shit from anyone, but wasn't a fucking weasel, he'd be a top 10 player in the league.
 
Not seeing a positive outcome with the Leafs in the next 3 games either. What they've shown in the past 2 games (and a good part of that 2nd game) is they simply don't have the offensive rushes needed to generate legit scoring chances. Too much dependance on the lucky bounce. I think the Panthers have their number from here on out. I hope I'm wrong (again) :)
