This is my major qualm with Shanny not being let go when Dubas was.

When you have an organizational failure, you cant dump the GM, then the coach, then the president and force the new president into keeping the same GM and Coach who he have never wanted in the first place. It's just backwards.
 
The moment Berube started extolling the importance of determination & will to win... was a sign they were already cooked. Still fucking baffling when comparing their game 6 vs 5 & 7 tho.
 
Most important game news was Hailey Bieber seen in platinum lounge public washrooms.

Even the Biebers use public toilets!!
 
Feeling a strange case of schadenfreude directed inwards this morning. Rewatched the post game interviews and hating everything and everyone. Just happy I didn't watch as many regular season games this year knowing that nothing has changed.

Marner should be told the we are not resigning him this morning. By noon Shanny and GM need to be let go.

We should strongly consider stripping Matthews off the C who is ok with having passengers on his team. But maybe leave that till the next off season.

Consider next year a transition year. Focus all effort for a chance at McDavid.
 
Whatever happens now won't make a fucking bit of difference.

It just doesn't seem to matter who the players, coaches, GMs, presidents, mascots, ushers, hot dog vendors, cleanup crews, ticket takers, security guards, and whoever the fuck else works for the Leafs are, these shitstains will never win it all ever again it seems.

It's quite simply infuriating to invest ones emotions in this team to be rewarded with and continually be let down by inconsistency, lack of effort, don't give a fuckitus, etc. time after time after time.

Games 1 and 2: Yeah, way to go boys!

Games 3 and 4: Not totally unexpected but disappointing to say the least.

Game 5: WTF was that?

Game 6: Wow, looking good for game 7.

Game 7: What in the everloving fuck was that?

Infuriating.

I'd really like to say I'm done with this shit but as sure as the sun rises in the east I'll be right back for more next season. I guess I'm a dumbass for subjecting myself to this over and over.

Their game 6 wasn't a masterclass or anything. They won mostly because Florida didn't play that well.

And yet last year was when Willy tore a strip off both of them on live TV.

I think the problem is that the core 4 don't really like each other that much and don't want to play for each other.

Willy? Ugh. A man that is a ghost in the defensive zone. Just a cherry picker floating around and not doing much of anything. His remark of "its only 3 games" in the regular season should not have been let go. Is he not paid oodles of cash to win games and put out 100% 100% of the time on the ice? Why give that mutt a free pass? He's as much of the problem as the others in the core 4/5. Imagine being a line worker at Boeing after a plane crashes and they find out you missing 3 rivets caused the crash....yeah...but it was only 3 rivets! His attitude is this team. Gutless and way, way overrated.
 
Lol just wait until you guys hear it’ll be Treliving that takes over as president.

After seeing what I saw from this team the last week I can’t give any less of a shit what they do. I want them all gone.
