I see Stl coming out of the west. Their blueline doesn't make sense to me and I don't know about Husso, but theor forward group is stacked. The west sucks.

Agreed , incredible depth upfront with emerging stars like Thomas and KyrouI see Stl coming out of the west. Their blueline doesn't make sense to me and I don't know about Husso, but theor forward group is stacked.
magic number is 4no but Vegas or a couple of the teams behind them could get hot the last few games. you never know.
Everytime I think I have goalie interference figured out, I don’t.
Not sure what else he could do with that chance there. Just not try to jam it in and concede the play. Feels like the right call.
I swear there was another one recently where the puck was loose and I argued the exact same thing and it was no goal. Anyone else remember or am I losing my mind?eh with us the puck was under the pad and covered and he literally just pushed the pad in to push the puck in (and if you listen the whistle actually blew first).
in this one the puck is always loose and the stick is always on the puck.

Seems like simultaneous pushing of the loose puck, attempting to direct it into the corner of the net, and resulting pushing of the pad, but almost incidental.
not mutually exclusiveI swear there was another one recently where the puck was loose and I argued the exact same thing and it was no goal. Anyone else remember or am I losing my mind?
Those aren’t the same. There is no such thing as incidental contact with a goalie in the crease.
There are only horribly bad calls by on ice officials. But according to the rules, this is black and white. If contact with a goalie caused them to be unable to make a save (or even just potentially in position to make a save), it's goalie interference. The only time this should be overlooked is if the contact occurs independent of the puck going in (as in, the puck is already behind the goalie and then contact is made.
A goaltender is entitled to any location within their crease, at all times. Refs fuck this up way too often. This is what made Wilson running Jack so ridiculous. The impetus is on the skater, 100% of the time to do everything possible (including not jumping the defender for the inside line at full speed) to not hit the goalie inside the crease.
