Around the League 2019-2024 Edition

Yeah, that’s it for Lehner.

Doubt we’ll ever see him back in the NHL playing at a high level again.

And man, does that ever leave Vegas in a tough spot in net. Lucky for them that the West sucks.

Are they though? I mean, you haven't been overly objective about them since before Vegas got the team.

Isn't a bad group compared to the other bubble teams in the west. Remember, they're competing with Nashville, Dallas, Vancouver, Winnipeg for the last few playoff spots, not Washington, Pittsburgh, Boston.

The only losses from last year's teams are half the season of MaxPac, and 44 games of .907 Lehner. Those are hardly insurmountable losses. Really depends on whether or not Eichel returns as Eichel, or broken Eichel and how the goaltending holds up.

Older players with injury history, questionable goaltending and secondary scoring. I don't think they're very good. Could they squeak in? Sure the west sucks but I don't see it happening, that's such a shit franchise.

After a strong start, they've lost the fuck out of the plot the last few years with their cap and personnel management. They're still living off of a legitimately historic performance at the expansion draft table. The whole thing was genius, even if it looks to have been a fluke in retrospect. But did they ever fuck the rest of the league up the ass in their first opportunity.
