Yeah, there's gotta be way more hidden than what is known about now. I haven't followed too closely the whole story, but it seems like the only way forward is to clear house and have someone launch into a deeper investigation. Why that isn't happening has gotta be some group of people in the old boys club desperately trying to protect each other.

and they had the gall to bring in a woman clearly as a virtue signal too without actually trying to effect any meaningful change. just bonkers lack of self awareness.

Exactly this... the skeletons that are still buried must make what has come to light so far look innocent.
 
Admittedly I haven’t looked into it too closely but As far as I can tell it’s not a government entity. It’s like the IOC. Just a mob organization that weaselled its way into power in hockey in Canada. The Board would have to fire themselves.

there is no legal requirement that hockey Canada is responsible for national teams and minor hockey. the provinces hockey orgs are all members of hockey Canada and hockey Canada is a member of IIHF. But the CHL isn’t. University hockey isn’t.

seems just like a middle man to siphon money out of minor and amateur hockey that does little other than name GMs for the tournaments and distribute revenue that they don’t keep for themselves. Well and their bread and butter of covering up rapes.

I joked about this a few days ago but hes doing the work the rest of these boobs like Dreger and LeBrun are afraid to in fear of losing inside access.

More people should be all over these guys for not hammering on the management and players who were involved in Hockey Canada throughout the years

yeah if they're not careful here Hockey Canada may succeed in making themselves obsolete. gonna have to smell the roses soon before it is too late...
