Around the League 2019-2024 Edition

I think the vote will be yes, but the Tempe arena vote is today. wouldn't a "No" be so fun to mock Gary?
I'm sure that the white haired, Trump voting residents of Tempe will be only too happy to get grifted into paying for an arena. The A's managed to work things out with Vegas, after all.

It's just pretty funny they change it to '10.1" because 3 players make 10 million. We always heard no one makes it far with a 10 million player. They are really trying extremes to keep this story going.
I think the only way the argument works is in terms of percentage of your cap, not the raw number. A $10 million contract gets more digestible if the cap goes up. If it goes down or stays flat it gets tougher to swallow.

nobody has won a recent cup where their highest paid player was $4M

Remember when I was told this would change this year? Good times.

er, it did change.

Since Barkov, Eichel, and Bobrovsky are all making $10m and in the conference finals....

..... they moved the bar up to $10.1m!

remember when we told you they'd do that?

Is it though? I mean stats aside couldn't it point to team construction and cap management?
