I thought Florida would have tried to get involved in a helly 3 way deal where Bob went to Winnipeg with retention to "keep them competitive"
 
If Nylander wants 10+ you trade him to the Jets for a package of Helly + + . He’ll get his 10+ there and rot away in the peg. We can probably squeeze them for something good along with Helly.

This is already a team without enough depth scoring…so trade the 40-goal/87-point winger that actually shows up in the playoffs to rent a 30 year-old goalie?

I can also pretty much guarantee that Winnipeg is one of the teams on Willy’s NTC list, so it’s a moot point.
 
Winnipeg is bundled in with every NHL NMC. You need special overwrite permissions notarized by your agent and 2 family members to remove that city from the list.
 
Dubas must have some other moves up his sleeve if he executes... Capfriendly says they are tapped out already.
 
Yeah Pens are capped out. Even after dumping one of their backup goalies they still only be able to carry a 21 man roster (i.e. one extra skater) heading into the season.

Contracts they would probably like to get rid of:
