Last year for sure. Career wise Aho has been better.

Since Willy started getting PP1 time he's been a cut above him I think. 1.025ppg vs 0.96ppg over a large sample. Mostly PP driven, granted. Hard to compare the two players when one guy barely gets any PP time. But now all things are equal.

With that said, doing it as a center while also being responsible defensively is way more impressive

Hockey is a regional game unlike soccer that has a global reach

Easier to promote MSL to a hundred countries than the limited NHL

League has grown revenues and secured decent TV contracts
