Bettman should count himself lucky that Westhead is the only face he needs to place on that dart board. Unfortunately, the hockey media is, by and large, comprised of garbage reporters. Most just want access or they work for outlets that have corporate ties to the teams they cover. 95% of all sports reporters are nothing but stenographers and public relations hacks for the league. Nearly none of them qualify as credible journalists. Westhead is one of the very few who actually knows what his goddamn job is about.

As the overused cliche' goes "your best players have to be your best players". Elias Pettersson has been pretty much "MIA" this post-season (difficult buy the line that he's playing hurt as he didn't sit out the last game of a meaningless regular season game). Not saying the Canucks would've be even in the series if he played to the level he should be & the Oilers had average goaltending but the team would be at least competative.
